Knowledge Is a Currency Of The Universe

Coinstants

I have great respect for Native Americans in general, and I respect their traditions and culture.

A very interesting place that I want to share with you is located in Canada and it is called Ki lil xw, or translated Spotted Lake is a salty endoreic alkaline lake located northwest of Osoyoos in the eastern Similkameen Valley of British Columbia, Canada.

The commendable thing is that in 2001 it became a private property and that way it will be preserved for future generations of natives whose land was before "modern civilizations" that brought only destruction and pollution and commercialization of everything. That's why we'll see how it looks in the pictures, and if someone has a permit, maybe visit this place.

Spotted Lake is known to the First Nations People of the Osoyoos area as kÅ‚lilx’w, and it is a sacred site that has been considered a revered place of healing for centuries. The belief is that each of the different circles holds its own unique medicinal and healing properties. The land surrounding the lake was privately owned for 40 years, but in 2001 the federal government acquired it for the benefit and uses of the Okanagan Nation.
